Dolling Up

I have no memories of playing with dolls as a child so I'm getting another opportunity in my second childhood. As they say you have to crawl before you walk, I'm crawling into my identity as an artist. Each doll in this gallery is a result of an intention to make the invisible visible. Each is a conscious representation of an inner aspect of my psyche. According to Carl Jung, “The psychological rule says that when an inner situation is not made conscious it happens outside as fate…” These are considered healing dolls because they emerged from that intention. Behind each picture is a message made conscious.
